THE CASE OF THE MISSING MURUKKU 🪔

Last Deepavali, something strange happened. We launched our Deepavali gift sets. They quickly became our bestseller. And all over Malaysia, people opened their boxes and noticed the same thing: the murukku disappeared. Way too fast.

So this year, we’re bringing the whole set back. Same suspects. Same crime scene. Let’s investigate.

Suspect #1: The Murukku

Golden, crunchy, sealed in a shiny gold pouch. Says it was “just sitting there.” Nobody believes it. Witnesses heard the words “okay, just one more” at least six times.

Suspect #2: The Tiffin Carrier

Two tiers, covered in colourful tile prints, with a silk scarf tied on the handle like it’s going somewhere fancy. Perfect for hiding snacks. Also perfect for bringing food home from open houses. Very suspicious. Very cute.

Suspect #3: The Candles

A gang of scented candles in patterned tins, topped with dried flower petals. They make the room glow. They set the mood. They keep everyone distracted while the murukku vanishes. Classic move.

Suspect #4: The Matches

One red box, one green box. Small, but dangerous. No matches, no candles. No candles, no distraction. Clearly working together.

Suspect #5: The Box

Bright red, orange and blue, with elephants, dancing ladies and “Happy Diwali” in gold. It brought everyone together in one place. The mastermind.

The Verdict

After a long investigation (and a lot of snacking), we’ve made our decision: they all did it. Together. On purpose. To make your Deepavali feel warm, bright and a little bit chaotic, in the best way. That’s why it was our bestseller. And that’s why it’s back.
