Dang! Did We Really Forget About Dad… Again?

Look, let’s be honest.

We’ve all done it.

We remember Mum's birthday three weeks in advance, we plan surprises for our best friend's cat's adoption anniversary… but Dad? He gets a “Hey, uh… Happy Father's Day?” text while we’re halfway into our Sunday coffee.

Classic.

But here's the kicker — Dads don’t ask for much.
They don't want a parade or a ten-piece mariachi band showing up at the office (although… that might be epic).

Nope. Most Dads just want to know you thought of them. That in the chaos of your meetings, meal preps, and meme-sharing marathons — they crossed your mind.

So, here’s a little truth bomb:
Fatherhood isn't flashy. It's full of unspoken sacrifices, silent support, late-night pick-ups, and those awkward but deeply heartfelt “proud of you, kid” moments.

It’s in the background, but it’s everything.

And yet… somehow, we still end up scrambling every year, googling "last minute Father's Day gifts that don't scream last minute."

But Not This Year.

This year, you’ve got a secret weapon. A little box of “Dang! Forgot About Dad..” goodness, quietly saving the day. (No judgment if you remembered five minutes ago — we’ve got you.)

It’s got the whole mood: Wine to unwind. Snacks he’ll actually hide from the family. Granola that doesn’t taste like cardboard. And InstaBars to say “I see you, Dad” in between bites.

No tie. No mug that says “World’s Okayest Dad.” Just stuff he’ll actually enjoy. But again — this isn’t about the gift set (okay, maybe just a little). It’s about remembering the guy who:

  • Fixed the Wi-Fi by turning it off and on like a wizard.

  • Gave you career advice even if his job came with a wrench or a walkie-talkie.

  • Stayed awake till you got home — even if he pretended he was just “resting his eyes.”

So yeah, maybe we did forget. But this time, we’re showing up — snacks, sips, and love in hand.

Here’s to the dads who rarely ask for much — and deserve everything.

(And if you really forgot, we’ve got this whole gift set thing that makes it look like you totally didn’t.)
